Job description:
As a Payroll Specialist, you will play a key role in processing multi-state payroll for both union and non-union employees. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a complex payroll environment, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency in payroll operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process multi-state payroll, ensuring compliance with union agreements and labor laws.
• Review timesheets, wage calculations, and deductions for accuracy.
• Administer tax withholdings, garnishments, and union dues.
• Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to maintain payroll accuracy.
• Support year-end payroll processes, including tax filings and W-2 preparation.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency.
Qualifications:
• 3+ years of payroll experience, including multi-state and union payroll processing.
• Proficiency with payroll systems (ADP, Paycom, or similar).
• Strong understanding of payroll tax regulations.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas).
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
