Job Description:

As a Part-Time Finance Associate, you will oversee critical finance tasks to support cash flow management, working capital analysis, and financial reporting. This role involves regular interaction with both internal and external stakeholders, as well as a structured approach to invoicing, forecasting, and month-end close processes.

Key Responsibilities:
• Weekly Tasks:
o Track cash flow and update financial models based on new and ongoing projects.
o Make working capital recommendations, including decisions on when to draw down or pay off amounts as needed.
o Send client invoices and follow up on any outstanding payments.
• Monthly Tasks:
o Prepare monthly financial estimates and conduct a monthly close to ensure accuracy of records.
o Analyze month-over-month, quarter-over-quarter, and year-over-year financial changes, noting key takeaways.
o Remind contractors and team members to submit invoices and reimbursements before monthly close deadlines.
• Annual Tasks:
o Develop an annual forecast model and prepare an annual report once books are closed.
o Contribute to year-end financial analysis and reporting, offering insights for long-term financial planning.

Qualifications:

• Experience:
o 1-3 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related field.
o Familiarity with cash flow management, invoicing, month-end close processes, and financial modeling.

• Skills:
o Proficiency in financial analysis and strong attention to detail.
o Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines in a part-time capacity.
o Strong communication skills for coordinating with clients, contractors, and team members.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
