Job Description:

Our client is seeking an experienced, highly organized HR Manger to assist the HR Director in managing and implementing HR objectives, legal requirements, recruiting and department administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, onboard, an retain top talent for employees on a national level.
  • Provide administration, coordination and evaluation of 401K and benefit offerings.
  • Administer FMLA and work though the interactive process for ADA needs.
  • Working with third-party providers, research and resolve employee benefit problems and champion the annual open enrollment.
  • Provide sound advice on difficult employee relation situations.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of employee data via HRIS systems.
  • Work closely with the payroll and the accounts payable departments.
  • Comply with all state and federal regulations.
  • Perform exit interviews with separating employees.
  • Conduct investigations involving harassment, EEOC, and similar types of claims ensuring legal compliance, as required.
  • Lead by supporting and reinforcing the Firm’s philosophy and culture throughout the organization.

Skills:

  • Ability to identify, analyze, develop solutions, and make recommendations on issues which address the Firm’s business needs.
  • High energy level, comfortable performing multi-faceted projects in conjunction with normal activities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, tact, maturity, and flexibility.
  • Possess basic employment law and other government compliance regulations.
  • Ability to research and source different type of data information.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work.
  • Knowledge of principles and practices of HR administration.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • MS Office skills required.
  • SPHR or PHR Designation preferred.
  • Experience supporting remote employees/managers is a plus.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years HR experience.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and formulate appropriate responses.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and analytical.
  • Excellent communication abilities.
  • Possess demonstrated decision making skills while building trust throughout the organization.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated commitment to providing high-quality HR services to employees and managers.
