Job Description:
As the leader of the Credit and Collections function, this role oversees personnel, processes, systems, and policies to achieve targets in Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), working capital, cash flow, bad debt, and aging. They lead by example, fostering a team-player mindset and ensuring accountability among team members. Collaborating with Finance leadership and other functional area leaders, they drive strategic initiatives and goals while ensuring quality service to internal and external customers by interacting with various stakeholders including Business Unit Controllers, Billing, Sales, Accounting, and the Executive Leadership Team.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
5 years of increasing responsibility within AR / Finance / Accounting roles or Billing.
2+ years of people management experience preferred.
Results oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities and ability to think strategically and out of the box.
Experience with financial ERP systems, Oracle or SAP preferred.
System implementation experience a plus (ERP / collections modules / 3rd party portals such as Ariba).
