Public accounting firm located in Swansea, Illinois is looking to add a full-time staff accountant to handle additional growth.
This position includes all aspects of accounting and taxation services for small to medium sized businesses. Duties will include:
- QuickBooks consulting, training and support
- Bookkeeping and financial statement preparation
- Monitoring changes in state and federal tax laws
- Preparing corporate and partnership tax returns
- Payroll and sales tax reporting
Qualified candidates will possess the following credentials:
- 4-year accounting degree or equivalent required
- Prior public accounting experience required QuickBooks experience required
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Client service oriented
- Lacerte software experience preferred
