Job Description:
We are currently looking for a Controller to work as an integral part of management. Working with, and reporting directly to the President & CEO, job responsibilities will include:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the accounting/finance functions.
Perform account reconciliation, journal entries, accruals, and fixed asset management.
- Manage Account Receivable and collections
- Management of banking, insurance, and outside CPA relationships
- Perform Month-end P&L
- Responsibility for inter-company transactions and reconciliation
- Responsible for annual review and compilation of company with outside CPA firm
- Work with outside CPA regarding Federal tax filings and annual 1099 reporting
- Direct supervision of Staff Accountant who performs AP, invoicing, monthly journal entries, and various other responsibilities
- Process payroll in QuickBooks and manage payroll tax returns.
- Upload company orders to warehouse via file transfer system.
- Manage 401-k contributions and annual reporting.
- Assist with HR functions of onboarding new employees.
Qualifications:
Skills and Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of accounting experience and supervisory/management experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- Strong knowledge of QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions.
- Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel and Power Point),
- Must be a multi-tasker, detail oriented, and self-starter.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
