. We are seeking a career-minded person to join our finance team. The Accounts Receivable Coordinator is a full-time position that is responsible for all aspects of the accounts receivable process and an integral part of the accounting team that monitors, collects, reconciles and applies payments, while interacting with our customers as well as other functional departments.

Key Responsibilities:

Accurately apply EFT and mailed in check payments to customer accounts-and prepare checks for deposit Fintech & iControl-Transmit EDI invoice files and receive payment files for application to open invoices

Reapply payments on account (POAs) that are received by route drivers to the appropriate open invoices

Communicate new and closed businesses with sales organization Monitor accounts for past due accounts according to MO liquor laws

Monitor state website for new & terminated liquor licenses to ensure we only deliver to legally licensed businesses. Suggest and maintain credit terms for new and existing accounts

Provide excellent service to customers as well as internal departments

Effectively analyze A/R activity and professionally resolve discrepancies with customers

Enter emergency or customer pickup orders that will not be delivered by routes drivers

Quickly answer driver questions as they relate to collections from accounts at the time of delivery

Run and monitor monthly aging reports, identifying issues and opportunities

Qualifications Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications:

  • Overall understanding of A/R cycle 3-7 years of experience in accounts receivable or cash application

Experience with third party EFT invoice payment systems such as Fintech & iControl

  • Ability to analyze data utilizing the route accounting system and Excel Attention to detail, customer service orientation, problem solving and follow-up skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook Education level achieved
  • Associates degree preferred
  • Knowledgeable of Missouri Liquor Laws as it relates to required licenses and credit terms
  • Familiarity with VIP route accounting system / AS-400

    Build and maintain a good working relationship with members of the state, county and local liquor regulatory departments
