SUMMARY

We are currently seeking a mission-driven, financially savvy Vice President of Finance and Administration. The selected individual will inherit a well-run department that is responsible for all financial and fiscal management aspects of company business including accounting and controls, regulatory reporting, financial analysis, management reporting, and financial components to mergers & acquisitions.

This position is a critical member of the Executive Team and will have input on overall company strategy. In this position, you will:

Develop and execute on strategies for maximizing balance sheet to support strategic goals including potential cash utilization, corporate borrowing, fund development, etc.

Support 10% annual growth in sales while containing General and Administrative costs.

Provide financial leadership and oversight for the organization with emphasis on adherence to accounting standards, budget and forecasting.

Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of reports and adherence to accounting standards.

Provide business partnership to cross-functional organizations within the company to assess organizational performance against our long-term strategy, recommend and assist with implementing changes needed to achieve financial goals.

Maintain and manage financial policies and processes impacting internal and external reporting. This includes but is not limited to:

general ledger, revenue accounting, accounts payable and receivable, order management and billing, payroll, fixed assets, taxes, insurance, treasury and investment administration.

Establish and monitor internal controls and audit procedures to ensure proper financial management and safeguarding of assets.

Develop processes to drive efficiency, solve business issues, and generate cost savings.
Identify opportunities to automate and streamline activities in an effort to run the organization more effectively as the company grows.

Work closely with management to drive the day-to-day business by reporting appropriate metrics, developing financial models and implementing strategic plans.

Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipate future legislation; enforce adherence to requirements; file financial reports; advise management on needed actions.

Manage financial and actuarial risk with regards to the company' s pension fund and insurance programs. These programs include Property and Casualty, General Liability, Products, E&O, and medical benefit plans.

Confer with senior management and staff on matters involving legal interpretation and decisions related to organizational activities, policies and operating issues


QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor' s degree required; CPA license or MBA, strongly preferred.

Minimum of 15+ years of diverse business and financial work experience with a minimum of five years' experience in a senior financial/operations leadership position.

Strong financial background within an organization with multi-location and international operations.
Experience in high growth and dynamic environment, assisting fellow senior management team members to improve business processes, analysis, and problem solving

A demonstrated ability to improve operating efficiencies and processes through effective team leadership.

Expertise in treasury management and banking relationships.

Strong expertise in forecasting and analysis, development and utilization of management information and key business metric tools.

Experience in implementing, maintaining and modifying Financial systems including ERP systems.

Experience managing and mitigating financial and actuarial risk with regards to health and retirement benefits.

Solid financial experience with mergers and acquisition integration, preferred.
