Sr. Financial Analyst, FP&A and Reporting Metr
Transform business data into reports and insights that enable leaders to effectively manage business performance that positions the organization competitively and profitably. This role is responsible for the development, implementation, maintenance for the reporting of metrics and performance data, with a focus on expense related metrics. This includes the systems associated with these data points, as well the processes for data collection and reporting.
: This role would also work to create robust, consolidated metrics, which would involve engagement with business partners and leaders in order to ensure we properly align our metrics with our core values, strategies and risks. The role will ensure our metrics and consolidated reporting drive performance, inform company-wide strategy and have a statistical impact on the bottom line results. A key task would be to ensure consistent consolidated messaging for the Board and Executive Committee presentations.
: Communicate and present to diverse and global audiences (e.G., Board, Executive Committee, Regional business leaders, Corporate Support Providers) to report metrics and gather documented feedback and analysis.
: Create insightful financial analyses and presentations (standard and ad-hoc) to leadership, which contribute to their effectiveness and the oversight of the organization' s expense base. This role would also play a part in enhancing our Executive and Board level presentations in order to more effectively and visually share results to ensure that we are providing the appropriate information to leadership to make informed business and strategic decisions around expense management.
: Assists with the development and continued enhancements of processes to facilitate ongoing, periodic consolidated reporting to Executive Council and the Board, with a focus on expenses. This will include development of standard reporting templates to collect and present a consistent view to the Executive Committee and the Board.
: Act as a back-up on a number of key processes and projects.
: Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
: Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
: 8+ years of experience in Financial Analytics and Report Development
: Bachelor' s Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance and/or a related field
: Understanding of enterprise-wide Reporting platforms / tools
: Advanced Degree in Accounting, Business, and/or Finance
: CPA certification
: Insurance or reinsurance industry experience
