Sr Accountant - Branch Expense and P&L

The Senior Accountant is responsible for delivering individual results in alignment with the Branch Expenses and P&Ls department' s strategic and operational objectives. . This role will prepare, summarize and present firm financial reports and analysis, identifying trends and presenting recommendations.
: Reconcile and review branch expense and P&L transactions to ensure financial integrity of compensation programs.
: Prepare, summarize and present firm financial and operational reports to department leadership in order to influence decision making.
: Analyze, document, and monitor business processes in order to Identify and implement process and control improvements.
: Support system design, documentation, testing, and implementation to ensure the department' s requirements are met.
: Respond timely and accurately to service inquiries related to Branch Expenses & P&Ls.
: Develop and maintain business relationships and partnerships with key business owners and stakeholders throughout the division and firm.
: Understand the roles, responsibilities and activities performed by organizational functions; understand the interrelationship among organizational functions, and ability to collaborate across functional and organizational lines.
: Bachelor degree is in related field. CPA preferred.
: Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience.
: Financial services industry experience preferred
: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
: Proficient in Peoplesoft and BI Tools preferred
: General knowledge of accounting practices and principles
: Strong written and verbal communication skills
: Ability to identify and implement necessary controls
: Ability to retrieve and analyze data
: Ability to solve complex problems, recommend and implement solutions.
