Coordinate various administrative expense budget functions, including the annual company budget, Medicare SNP bid projections and multi-year administrative expense projections for product proposals/renewals.
Generate and distribute monthly actual vs. Budget expense variance reports to department heads and ensure understanding of reports, reasons for variances, etc.
Responsible for cost allocation functions.
Prepare monthly Family Care Partnership financial statements for reporting to the State.
Prepare financial reporting and related analytics required for business partners such as Aurora SNP, Lakeland SNP, Humana, etc.
Develop and maintain inventory of fixed assets and depreciation schedules.
Prepare journal entries with proper supporting documentation.
Perform account analyses and reconciliations.
Assist in the development, maintenance and improvement of accounting and reporting systems.
Assist with preparation of regulatory reports to the National Association of Insurance Commissioners and the State of Wisconsin Office of the Commissioner of Insurance in compliance with Federal and State regulations.
Perform other tasks as assigned.

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
3-5 years accounting/budgeting experience preferably in a healthcare environment.
Strong Excel spreadsheet skills and familiarity with data base functions.
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and to represent the company professionally.
Ability to work effectively and cooperatively as a member of a team.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and exercise sound business judgements.
Skill and ability to seek accounting solutions using standard techniques.
