Critical in the role for individuals to be problem solvers as we build the finance and accounting function and related processes from the bottom-up.
Duties and Responsibilities:
: Responsible for completing timely and accurate monthly and year-end close processes, including:
: Manage the close calendar
: Close and consolidate financials
: Reconcile and analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts.
: Analyze income statement accounts and compare to budgets.
: Review complex GAAP issues as required and provide communications of emerging issues.
: Preparation of external and internal audit and regulatory requests as required.
: Monthly, quarterly and annually preparation of draft consolidated financial statements.
: Manage staff accountant(s)
: Bachelor's degree in Accounting
: Minimum of 3-7+ years of experience in general accounting.
: Experience with account reconciliations, general ledger, accounts payable, payroll reconciliations and reporting
: Thorough and current knowledge of GAAP
: Strong consolidation experience.
: CPA a plus
