The Project Accountant is responsible for all facets of the day-to-day accounts payable and various accounts receivable functions. The position acts as a consultant to each Project Manager, our internal customers.
Prepare billings to owners, process all overhead invoices and job invoices throughout the month.
Work daily with the vendors and subcontractors on issues ranging from billing and payments to insurance and lien waivers.
Work on a variety of miscellaneous issues delegated from the controller.
Respond to requests for information and analysis from Project Managers on various accounting and subcontractor issues.
5 plus years of accounting experience, construction accounting experience considered a plus.
Experience working with title companies
Experience in the construction draw process
Experience preparing sworn statements and G702/G703
