Manager Accounting/Financial Reporting

Manages the daily operations of general accounting, including review and analysis of the financial results of the organization. Provides financial support for operations.
Ensures that financial statements and balance sheet account reconciliations are produced accurately and timely.
Ensures accounting controls are sufficient and implement appropriate policies and procedures as necessary to safeguard assets.
Facilitates standardization and best practices
Assists with the completion and review of various financial models and ad-hoc projects and analyses.
Oversees and reviews the preparation of various regulatory reporting requirements, including audit, tax, cost reporting, and surveys.
May manage individual(s) including but not limited to: hires, trains, assigns work, manages & evaluates performance, conducts professional development plans to ensures that the productivity and actions of that group meet and, or, support the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership.
