HR Systems Analyst
Under limited supervision, the Lead HR Systems Analyst is responsible for production management of HR systems including updates, implementation of functionality, testing and other technical projects. This position will serve as the lead for the global HCM strategy (Workday), configuration, structure, security and ongoing maintenance. It will work with peers to recommend technology priorities and assists subject matter experts to ensure data integrity, testing of system changes, and optimal business processes. This role partners with colleagues and management to analyze work process design and flow, improve processes and leverage return on technological capabilities.
Lead the strategy of the global HCM to ensure its configuration, structure, processes, security, and ongoing maintenance best meets the needs of HR, managers and employees across the company.
Serve as the subject matter expert for the global HCM across the company.
Manage the day-to-day production management of the global HCM and other HR Systems in support of Payroll, Benefits and other inter-related HR functions.
Foster and maintain positive relationships with HCM customer base.
Serve as an intermediary between internal/external customers and the functional team to ensure effective delivery of the global HCM system.
Promote proactive approaches using the global HCM system to solve business needs and problems.
Based on business need, negotiate priorities and support requirements with the IT support team, corporate, local and divisional HR staff, and others as appropriate.
Review, test and implement new HCM system functionality, upgrades or patches.
Write, maintain and support a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools.
Maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data.
Develop or oversee the development of user procedures, guidelines and documentation.
Train clients on new processes/functionality. Train new system users.
Proactively partner and guide the IT team that supports our global HCM.
Coordinate with HR management to effectively select new systems to support their functional areas to ensure our company leverages existing data in the most economical and effective manner to avoid duplication of efforts.
Maintain awareness of current trends in global HCM with a focus on product and service development, delivery and support, and applying key technologies.
Examine trends in information systems training, materials and techniques. Through classes, reading or other mechanisms, continuously increase both HR knowledge and global HCM application/tools knowledge.
Participate in user group meetings/conferences.
Facilitates system improvements to aid associates in performing their responsibilities in an effective and efficient manner.
Identifies and understands issues while seeking new solutions and methods.
Compares data from multiple sources to make conclusions with options.
Takes action consistent with available information supported by testing.
Utilizes interpersonal skills when working with various customers and peers to accomplish project goals.
Maintains regular and predictable hours of work and is available as needed to work with our company' s global offices.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
: Bachelor's degree in computer science, business or other related field or equivalent work experience.
: Cross-functional knowledge of Human Resources
: Global Workday HCM experience
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
: 8-10 years of global HCM experience
: Subject matter expert level understanding of system data management principles and Workday HCM configuration.
: Advanced knowledge of reporting with the ability to create new metrics, reports or queries based upon business requirements.
: Ability to influence and manage multiple stakeholders across functions to solve complex technical and business problems.
: Ability to translate moderately complex systems concepts to non-technical users in a productive and supportive manner.
: Knowledge of Human Resources including Benefits/Compensation/Payroll to support business requirements and resolve system, process or analytical issues.
: 3-5 years of project management experience with skills in evaluating objectives, milestones, and goals combined with a successful record of managing tasks to meet projects goals and timelines.
: Experience in full cycle implementation of HCM modules which includes requirements, design, build, test, and implementation phases.
: Ability to translate business requirements into design specifications.
: Ability to resolve HCM issues in an effectively, efficient and timely manner.
: Advanced organizational and analytical skills to work through ambiguous information and data.
: Intermediate Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
