Position Summary

Plans, directs, supervises and coordinates work activities of team responsible for human resources service functions such as Recruitment, Pre-employment processes/onboarding, New Employee Orientation, Employee Relations, Performance Management and entry and data integrity audits of Workday - HRIS/iCIMS - ATS. Also responsible for Affirmative Action Plan compliance, vendor management and special projects as assigned.

Duties and Responsibilities

Human Resources:

: Manages 3 HR Generalists and an HR Coordinator responsible for employee relations, performance management, training, recruitment and HRIS.

: Responsible for employee relations, review and approval of all corrective actions and conducting employee investigations

: Responsible for performance management ensuring reviews and increases are prepared and delivered in a timely manner

: Prepares and maintains updated job descriptions

: Maintains employee handbook

: Collaborates on policies and procedures to ensure updated and effective

: Handles escalated issues involving employee complaints or questions

: Manages vendor relationships (temporary or permanent agency contracts; background check vendors)

: Responsible for onboarding activities of new hires and all pre-employment activities

: Ensures employee files are kept current and terminated files purged

: Responsible for New Employee Orientation

: Responsible for facilitating leadership training

: Responsible for working with the team to develop and maintain HRIS and ATS job aids

Systems and Data Administration
: Ensures data integrity of HRIS and ATS systems conducting system audits

: Provides quality control and quality assurance of all employee changes and approvals to the HRIS system.

: Researches, analyzes data and prepares reports for the Director of Human Resources.

: Researches and recommends new HRIS functionality to streamline processes and improve services

: Conducts internal system and procedural audits

: Prepares and maintains updated job aids for HRIS and ATS and delivers training as needed

: Collaborates with HRIS Administrator to ensure system updates are documented and communicated effectively

: Ensures accurate and timely tracking of system issues and enhancements

: Ensure timely posting of positions and offers being extended

: Provides recruiting status reports using ATS and other software

: Ensures compliance with Affirmative Action Plan

: Maintains accountability over recruiting budget.

: Monitors the Applicant Tracking system database, tracking issues and recommending enhancements.

: Trains leadership on legal hiring practices and provides effective tools
