Global Wage & Salary Specialist

Global corporate compensation subject matter expert for field HR leaders, providing guidance and support in the evaluation, recommendation and implementation strategies of pay and benefits changes. Trusted resource in the application of compensation management principles, pay scheme development, cost estimations and best practices. Leads various compensation and data analytics projects supporting the strategic business needs associated with compensation, benefits and other labor related metrics.
: Analyze individual sites' annual compensation/benefit budget recommendations, along with the human resources KPIs and financial performance. Partner with business unit and/or local HR management to resolve outstanding issues. Create written summary for executive management review/approval.
: Develop salary range and hourly pay structures through the use of job descriptions, market data comparison and internal equity analysis. Determine the cost impact for implementation, total first year and maximum cost. Present to executive management for review/approval.
: Manage multiple projects such as compensation and benefits integration for mergers and acquisitions, recalibration of existing salary range and hourly pay structures, cost evaluation of incentive plans, analysis and cost estimation of new cash allowances/benefits implementation or changes to existing plans.
: Perform complex data analysis of global internal and external data sets (i.E., turnover, headcount, pay rate, labor costs, economic metrics). Produce best-practice reports, which entail creation and maintenance protocols for handling, processing, standardizing and analyzing data on a regular basis.
: Create, maintain and support a variety of global databases ensuring data integrity. Assist in development of standard reporting tools for ongoing business planning needs. Research and fulfill various data requests and analysis.
: Maintain the Global Compensation SharePoint intranet site to ensure field HR professionals have knowledge of manuals, templates and training dates as well as have access to general compensation tools and other resources.
: Assist in updating compensation training program materials tailored by world area and co-facilitate training sessions.
: Partner with Human Resources leaders on various compensation and benefit projects as needed.
: Position will require 10% travel, both domestic and international.
: Bachelor' s degree in human resources or related field required. Master' s degree preferred.
: 3-5 years of prior compensation and benefits experience.
: Human resources generalist experience strongly preferred.
: Must possess strong math, analytical and writing skills.
: Must be able to effectively communicate to all levels of the organization.
: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (i.E., use of macros and databases).
: Experience in database management preferred.
